In Loving Memory of Ermina (Emernia) Agnes Farrier Parker
August 12, 1941 – May 21, 2025
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we honor the remarkable life of Ermina Parker -
devoted mother, cherished grandmother, faithful servant of God, and matriarch whose
love knew no bounds.
Born in Harlem to Irving Saywell Farrier of Grenada and Mae Jones Farrier of Virginia,
Ermina's compassionate nature blossomed early. After graduating from James Adams
High School, she answered her call to heal, earning her LPN certification from
Roosevelt Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. For decades, her gentle hands and
caring heart touched countless lives, first in nursing and later through her community
work with the NYC Housing Authority and Board of Elections.
Her greatest blessing came on April 3, 1964, when she married her beloved William H.
Parker Jr. ("Junie"). Their union was graced with their daughter Tracy Renee Clark, who
became the pride of their lives. Though William passed in 1994, their love story
continued through the family they built.
A pillar of Shiloh Temple Pentecostal Church since 1980, Ermina lived her faith through
service as choir member, missionary, and ordained Deaconess. Her ministry brought
light to nursing homes and comfort to all who knew her.
Her extraordinary legacy lives on through:
Devoted daughter and son in-law- Tracy Renee and Christopher Clark Sr.
Beloved adoptive daughter -Ann Marie Parker
Adored grandchildren: Christopher Jr., Jasmine, Julian, Brittany, Emmanuel,
Rebekah, and Mia
Loving siblings: Christine (Blake) Pitchford, Ruby (Nathaniel) Batts, Katie

Ermina's life was a testament to grace in action - whether remembering every birthday,
offering wisdom at just the right moment, or delighting in her grandchildren's
accomplishments. Her home was a haven of love, her faith a beacon of hope, and her
presence a gift to all who knew her.
As we celebrate her beautiful journey, we take comfort knowing her spirit lives on in the
countless lives she touched and the family she so lovingly nurtured.
